Paul Cuffe received B.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from University College Dublin in 2009 and 2013, respectively. He is currently an assistant professor within the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering and is a member of the Energy Institute. His core research interests are in the optimization and analysis of electrical energy systems. He has emerging interests in topics such as transport electrification, blockchain and data visualisation. Paul is always happy to meet with students who wish to pursue funding for a PhD or a research masters programme. Likewise, prospective undergraduates who wish to propose their own final year projects are always welcome to get in touch. Oddball ideas encouraged!
