Divyanshu is a PhD candidate at University College Dublin under the supervision of Dr James O'Donnell. His research interests are in urban building energy modelling, building archetype development and statistical machine learning. He graduated from Chitkara University (India) in 2016 with a Bachelor in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. He then continued his education and earned a Master of Technology degree in 2019 in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies (India). He was awarded PAN India level GATE scholarship for the complete duration of his masters’ study. Currently, Divyanshu is heading the ASHRAE student branch at UCD. He is a member of the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) Project- 1 which addresses urban scale energy performance simulation of domestic and non-domestic buildings. He is also a member of Ireland’s National Retrofitting Modelling Group that manages Irish energy-related data resources.
