I graduated from a Bachelor in Biomedical Engineering Science and a Master in Biomedical Engineering from UCD in 2018 . My work during this period was centered on Brain-Computer Interfaces and biological signals analysis. I then took on this Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering as it presented many similarities with my domain. My work now focuses on Vibration Analysis applied to different domains ranging from Structural Health Monitoring to Wind Turbine downtime detection. The latter focuses on wind turbine real-time recordings to detect possible faults in the power production and provide more accurate estimates of electricity output on a short-term horizon. I started this Ph.D in January 2019.
