Senior Research Fellow
Sarah is a Senior Research Fellow in Energy Economics and Policy with the UCD School of Economics and the UCD Energy Institute. Her research is focused on economic and financial analysis of renewable energy technologies and policy mechanisms. Prior to joining UCD, Sarah worked as a Policy Advisor in the US Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, supporting analysis and implementation of key energy and climate priorities across DOE's sustainable energy portfolio, and advising senior leadership on a range of policy and management issues. She has also worked with the Irish Department of Communications, Climate Action, and the Environment (DCCAE), as well on a consulting basis with clean energy companies and start ups. Sarah holds a BSc in Political Science from Northeastern University in Boston, and an MSc in Energy & Environmental Finance from UCD.
